Blessings All,
Finally we are about to enter Holy Week. This Sunday’s service will have two parts. Part one will focus on Palm Sunday with the children parading with the palms and the focused text will be Matthew 21:1-11. The second part of the service shifts to the Passion. Again this year we will have a dramatic reading of the text. This is one of the more moving services of the year as we move through Palm Sunday to Good Friday in preparation for Easter.
Please hold Kitty Oxholm in prayer as she recovers from knee surgery. She should be home today following a successful surgery on Monday.
Just a reminder – if you have children – we will be having an egg hunt and crafts and games for children of all ages from 9 – 11 tomorrow morning. This should be a fund time for all ages – please invite friends.
Peace to you all,
In Faith,
Gary

Blessings Faith Family:
This Sunday we will worship at 9:30 (before the congregational meeting about building projects). The scriptures are: Isaiah 65:17-25, 2 Thessalonians 3:6-13 and Luke 21:5-19 with a message — are you ready — are you sure — here it is: “Moments to Live.”
We will be collecting candy one more Sunday from those children who still have some to give. Next week I will make sure the candy gets distributed to hospitals or Nursing Homes.
I am really looking forward to our worship experience this Sunday — I expect it will be a memorable one. I hope to see you then.
Growing In Christ,
Gary

Blessings All,
This Sunday is Reformation Sunday. We generally do not make a big deal of this Sunday — but I thought it might be good to provide a bit of an historical context which I expect will be interesting at the least and maybe even inspiring. We will cover a bit of Christian History leading to the Reformation. We will also recognize the traditions that came together to form our denomination all the way back in 1957.
The scripture passage is Luke 19:1-10 and the sermon title is: “Balancing” something I am having a harder and harder time doing.
I am looking forward to our time together on Sunday.
In Christ,
Gary
