This Sunday we will focus on John 20:19-31 with a bit of help from Acts 2:14a, 22-32. The sermon is entitled: “Keys to Life.” I expect that some interesting stuff will happen.

The Deacons will be hosting an informal, informational luncheon following church this Sunday (11:30-1:00) for anyone considering joining the church. CHILD CARE WILL BE PROVIDED.
Easter is about to arrive and we cannot stop it. Here goes. Men — if you want to help with the Easter breakfast — show up early at the church 5 or so. For those attending the Sunrise Service at Comfort Hill Farm at 6:45 — Boots would be good — think icy snow — think 15 degrees – think 45 mile per hour wind (Ok the wind might be overstated). Hot coffee awaits at the church along with Easter breakfast.
The Sunday Service will focus on Colossians 3:1-4 and John 20:1-18 with a “Message” entitled: “A New Plane”. We will decorate the cross with carnations and celebrate life together. Good Sunday to invite a friend.
We will receive a Special Offering on Sunday to support a young man from our community who needs financial help to attend a trade school out of state. This young man is not part of our church community but needs help and we are seeking assistance for him.
A Maundy Thursday Tenebrae service will be held at 7:00 in the Fellowship Hall as we reflect on Christ’s “Last Supper” – his time in the Garden of Gethsemane – the betrayal and desertion as he moved toward the cross and into eternity. You are invited.
A meeting of the Church Council will be held in Fellowship Hall on Thursday, March 27th at 7:00PM. All boards, committees, groups and interested parties in the church are invited to send representatives to this meeting to share goings on, exchange ideas, and kindle visions.
