This Sunday we will focus on Acts 17:21-31 and John 14:15-21 with a sermon entitled:  ”A Loving Trinity”.  We will celebrate the gift of grace through the sacrament of baptism as Nathan Lewis Coyne — son of Mike and Kelly Coyne — grandson of my wife and her husband — enters into the church universal.

This Sunday is the 5th week after Easter and the lectionary is from Acts 7:55-60 (death of Stephen-but isn’t life
more than just dying?), 1 Peter 2:2-10 (who is your conerstone?), and John 14:1-14 (part of Jesus’ farewell
address to an audience that - well, it is just surprising that they remembered where the church supper is taking
place!!!)

If you are praying or will pray in the near future, please remember Betty (Gary’s better half) and families who
are in crisis. Stephen (in Acts) prays for those who are is undoing, so the least we can do is to pray for our
church family and friends.

Bless you all. Peace

John
