Just a reminder that we will have a worship service this Sunday at 9:30. The scriptures: Psalm 131 and Matthew 6:19-21, 24-33 with a sermon entitled: “Long Term Investing.” The highlight of the service will be the Spirit of God through the baptism of Logan Peter Zimmer (Mike and Nancy (O’Daniel) Zimmer’s son. Should be fun.
This Sunday will be something special as we celebrate Pentecost (better late than never) and welcome into the Fellowship of the church this year’s Confirmation Class. Should be fun.
This Sunday’s scripture readings are: John 7:37-39, Acts 2:1-21 and 1 Corinthians 12:4-13 with a message entitled: “Fired Up!”
The Trustees will be coordinating an ALL-CHURCH work day (1/2 day) this Saturday from 8 - noon or any part of that time that you may wish to devote to sprucing up the church and its grounds in preparation for Spring/Summer. Bring a bit of energy and some tools — rakes and shovels and maybe a push broom or two. If you love to garden — here is your chance.
