Peace and Coolness to you all,
This Sunday’s service will feature a new voice in our church and state as Gayle Tucker leads us in worship as she seeks a call to a Vermont Church. The scripture passages are: Genesis 28:10-19a, Romans 8:12-25 and Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43 with a sermon entitled: “A Weed By Any Other Name.”
Should be interesting.
Hope to see you on Sunday at 9:00 in the sanctuary.

Wow!!! Can you believe it? It is time for Sunday worship again. Can life get any better? We will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall at 9:00 tomorrow to share the joys of life together and the challenges of discerning and following the word of God.
The scriptures for tomorrow are: Isaiah 55:10-13 and Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23 with a message: “Faith That Works.” Over the last few weeks we have been focusing on the issues that our on our plate today. Tomorrow we may move toward action.
Tomorrow evening, Sunday the 13th beginning at 5:30 at St. Peter’s Parish Hall there will be a forum (pot-luck and discussion) around the upcoming and maybe here and now fuel/food/financial crisis that is impacting all of us and some more than others. If you would like to attend this information sharing and perhaps direction setting time — please feel invited.

This Sunday’s service will be in the Fellowship Hall — at 9:00 AM. The scripture is Matthew 11:16-19, 25-30 with a message: “Inspiring Rest.” Sounds like a bit of a snoozer to me. We will celebrate Communing (Deacons Offering and Food Shelf Contributions) This month Mary Ann is asking for soup and jelly (jam).
Have a great and happy weekend
in Christ,
Gary
