Blessings to you again — can we ever get enough blessings??
Sunday’s service will focus on Philippians 2:1-13 and Matthew 21:28-32 with a sermon entitled: “Plugging In.”
If you would like to support our Crop Walk efforts this year addressing hunger issues world-wide and locally — you can bring a check to church or send one in made out to CWS/CROP and it will be credited to our church’s effort. Crop Walk is on the 5th of October this year.
God Bless You All,
Gary

Blessings Faith Family,
If you have an hour or so to help out on Saturday morning (in the Fellowship Hall) it would be much appreciated as we will be receiving 5000 pounds of food to be distributed that morning to needy people in our area. Mary Ann Castimore will have it all organized but we could use some helpers to bring in the food and help set it up (beginning at 7:45 am) and distributing the food and cleaning up afterward (beginning at 9:00 am or so). Great family project if you have older kids (it may not be safe for young children with all the activity and busyness).
Thank You
Gary

Greetings to all,
It’s raining and the ark is almost done; we will take two from each family and one pet. The pizza (40 days worth) will be delivered just before we leave.
On Sunday, we will visit Exodus 14:19-25, Romans 14:1-9 and Matthew 18:21-35. “Flash point” will be about where the rubber meets the road and where you meet God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit when your ‘lfash point’ is reached. Please come and bring a fire extinguisher.
Also, Gary and I will meet with the High Schooler’s (you can bring your German friends, also) and we will discuss the why’s and wherefore’s of the Youth Group. Pizza (not the ones for the ark) will be on the menu. Please plan to attend if you are in high school.
Ramona Guadalupe will start this Sunday so come and welcome her. Her bio will be in next week’s bulletin.
Lastly, for our book discussion we will watch a 15 minute video (based on the book “Seeing Gray” on Wednesday, September 24 in the evening.
Peace to all,
John

Blessings All,
As the church begins a new program year (TOMORROW - at 9:30 - in the morning) it should be quite a day. The scriptures for the day are: Exodus 12:1-14, Acts 2:43-47 and Matthew 18:15-20 with a Message entitled: “Family Values.” We will celebrate the Sunday School year with an introduction of the teaching staff and a dedication litany. We will have Communion — and everyone will be offered a special - challenging gift. We will conclude the morning with an ice cream social. Should be a lot of fun.
If you wish to bring in food contributions for the food shelf that would be great. Cereal and Jelly are two items that I recall Mary Ann asking for. Any contributions will be appreciated. We will also receive the offering for the Deacons Fund.
Crop Walk sign up begins tomorrow as well.
See you all then
Peace and Joy
Gary
