Good morning to all!

I hope everyone had a joyous Christmas and may the PEACE of our new-born Savior be with you all.

Sunday we will look at gifts that have been given to others who have produced the Christmas hymns that we sing each Christmas. We all have been given gifts and sometimes we might wonder, not only what are those gifts, but what do we do with them. We pray in both cases. But Sunday, our prayers have been answered in the form of music written and words written many, many years ago. We will celebrate those words and music and learn a bit about how those hymns came to be!

Our Scripture readings are Psalm 100 (KJV), Ephesians 5:15-20 (RSV) and Colossians 3:14-17 (NRSV). Come and hear, come and sing, come and be in community!

Bless you all for your gifts and the sharing of those gifts.

See you on Sunday.

Peace,

John

This Sunday’s service will focus on Luke 1:26-38 and 2 Samuel 7:1-11,16 with a sermon entitled: “De-Wrapping Christmas.”

This Sunday’s service will also feature some wonderful gifts of music — we are blessed in so many ways.

Also — the Habitat packets will be available on Sunday.

God Bless you all
