Blessings to you ALL,
Just a reminder to turn clocks back this weekend (Sunday morning early).
This Sunday we will focus some attention on Ruth 1:1-18 and Mark 12:28-34 with a message entitled: “Organic Community.”
We will also share in Communion as we kick-off November together.
Prayers of safety for all the children who are collecting candy tomorrow evening and a reminder to have the children bring in some of the candy (maybe 10%) on Sunday. We will share it with hospitals and nursing homes – sweetening the lives of others.
We will meet after coffee hour to view a short DVD followed by informal an informal discussion around three biblical themes of restoration (Bondage – Liberation) (Exile – Return) and (Sin – Forgiveness). This should offer some food for mind and heart.
In Christ,
Gary

This Sunday we will begin the adult ed program following coffee hour. It is self-contained so there is no prep necessary – user friendly.
Peace to all,

Blessings to you all,
It is Friday — this means only one day until the SPAGHETTI SUPPER — Saturday evening at 6:00 in the Fellowship Hall. Everyone is welcome — invite a friend or two.
It is Friday – this means only two days until worship on Sunday at 9:30 in the morning. Everyone is welcome to that also – you can even invite a friend or two — wow!!!
The scripture passages are: Hebrews 5:1-10 and Mark 10:35-45 with a sermon entitled: “A Good Death.” That sounds like a real grabber of a sermon.
Have a blessed weekend

Blessings to you all,
This Sunday will celebrate Worldwide Communion Sunday as well as Crop Walk Sunday. Our Texts for this Sunday are: Psalm 103:1-5 and John 10:11-18 with a Message entitled: “It’s Beyond Me.” Fitting for a sermon – don’t you think??
It is not too late to sign up to walk in this year’s walk in Middlebury beginning at 1:00 on the Green. It is also not too late to support the walkers with a donation to fight hunger around the world.
Peace to you all,
Gary
