Please hold Leonard Gibbs in prayer. Leonard fell and cracked 4 ribs(in 6 places) and is in Porter hospital. He is quite uncomfortable but his spirits are up. Thank you

Just a reminder that Sunday, we will celebrate worship together beginning at 9:30 AM. The scriptures will be: Revelation 21:1-6 and John 13:31-35 with a sermon entitled: “Vision Work.” It is the first Sunday of the month and we will share in the Lord’s Supper. The Deacons’ Fund is a bit on the low side. If you wish to contribute to this fund which supplies the bulletin covers, the Upper Room, flowers for the Easter Cross and Mother’s Day etc. etc. you may use the Special Offering envelope in the pews. The Food Shelf is quite depleted as well and if you wish to bring a can or two of soup — I know Mary Ann will be happy and there are not many things better than a happy Mary Ann.

Hi y’all

I know it is rainy and cold but we were spoiled by the good weather in March; we will carry on until the sun comes back out.

Sunday, we will hear from Act 9:1-6 (Saul (soon to be Paul) gets knocked off his high horse and changes his attitude and altitude. In John 21:15-17 Peter again tells Jesus he loves him and Jesus asks Peter to prove it - “Feed my sheep” The sermon is entitled - “Do we have to feed them?” Who is ‘them’? Is life all about ‘them’ versus ‘us’?

We will meet over the “Sabbath” book - “Wisdom” pages 157 -186. We have a Association meeting at 12:30, so we will meet in the downstairs office @ 11:00AM and be done before noon.

This coming Sunday, April 11th, we will have worship starting at 9:30 in the morning in the church sanctuary. The texts will be: Acts 5:27-32 and John 20:19-31 with a sermon: “Be Still.”
This Sunday you are invited to bring some goodies for coffee hour (Second Sunday Pot-luck coffee hour) bring some - take some.
