Blessings and Peace
I for one am having a bit of a difficult time getting my feet on the ground following a very very wonderful experience in El Salvador. I had a chance to listen to Julia’s service from the 13th. I could not help but “beam” through it as I listened to the gift of life she shared with the congregation. Mary Jane’s piano support was great and all seemed to go well – not only on the 13th but the 20th as well with Len Rowell preaching.
Team El Salvador should be home safe if not sound. No one got hurt, though some had experienced a bit of a digestion issue. It was good to have Doc Paul Stanilonis and Nurse Harriet Perkins on board. There will be much more to offer to the congregation as far as reflections from team members including photos once we have it together.
This Sunday (tomorrow) I will be co-leading the worship service with Gordon McClellan. Gordon is visiting us from Oregon as we provide a neutral pulpit experience for him and a search committee from another Vermont UCC church. The scripture for tomorrow is: Matthew 6:25-27 with a message: “The Bigger Picture.”
Looking forward to our time together tomorrow in worship
In Christ,
Gary

Blessings and Peace to you all,
Team El Salvador will be departing tomorrow morning (early). Please hold the following people in prayer as they extend the ministry of our church to our brothers and sister in El Salvador: Bill Hopkins and Harriet Perkins, Mike and Tim Johnston, Gary Lewis, Bill and Marcia Mazeine, Ed Place, Paul and Peggy Stanilonis, Paul and Cherie Vachon, Hans and Jason Vorsteveld and Wilma Wood. If all goes as planned we will be working on homes Monday through Friday and returning on the 20th (late).
This Sunday we are blessed to have Julia Blocksma leading worship in my absence. The scriptures are: 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 and Matthew 18:15-22 with a sermon entitled: “Forgive HOW Many Times?.” I would really encourage you to come and share in this time and BRING the KIDS.
May God Bless You All,
In Christ,
Gary
