Blessings All Ye Eastered Ones,

This Sunday is Communion Sunday.  If you wish to support the Deacons fund we will receive those offering during our regular morning offering time. The Deacons Fund provides the bulletins every Sunday as well as the Upper Room and flowers for baptisms as well as the carnations for the cross at Easter etc. etc.  This Sunday we will dedicate two special offerings (outreach ministries). The Sunday School has been collecting money and making paper cranes to support children in Japan.  Our Mission Committee, together with Kinney Drugs, and with the help of our Sunday School has provided to the community an opportunity to purchase Hygiene kits for Church World Service. We will include in our offering time a special prayer of dedication as these kits leave our area and find their way to crisis spots around the world.

The scripture for Sunday is:  John 20:19-31 with a message entitled: “Letting Go.”  Anything you need to let go of??  Just a thought.

Blessings All on this most Holy Day and Most Holy Time,

As we transition from hopelessness to hopefulness — we look toward Sunday. The Easter Sunrise Service will be held at Comfort Hill Farm beginning at 6:00 am followed by a pancake breakfast in the Fellowship Hall.  The Sunday moves toward the celebration of Easter at our 9:30 service where the cross, carried in to the sanctuary last week, will be transformed – even as we are being transformed.  The texts for Sunday are:  Colossians 3:1-4 and Matthew 28:1-10 with a sermon entitled:  ”Serving Easter.”  Have a blessed weekend and I hope to see you on Sunday.
